Elephant Puzzle for Sale

I've been working in my shop lately, and ran across a few unfinished elephant puzzles.  In the past, I have had requests from people asking to buy toys, so I decided to post a finished elephant puzzle on Ebay.  Eventually I'd like to start a toy company, or design toys for an existing company.  When this happens, I'll be able to have the toys made in a more efficient way so that the prices will be less.  However, if anyone wants something now, that's handmade by me, then here you go!

The elephant puzzle is made from 3/4 inch solid maple and measures 9.25"x6.25" (23x16 centimeters).  It's finished with food grade beeswax polish.   Ebay link here.

  1. I really love all the toys you do. So simple and they allow the imagination of the children to grow. I think the design is also very skandinavian-like, so I can easily to identify with it.

    Haha, sorry my english!:)

    Summer greetings from Finland!

  2. I'd like to see every child with one of your toys, as opposed to a box-full of battery-operated rubbish. I think if you established a toy company you'd do fabulously!

  11. A great fan of your blog - love love love all the creativity and especially feel that your children are very lucky to grow up in such a creative environment. I bet that kind of upbringing would have helped me out greatly in my own life because I am a creative being. Thanks for sharing and yes I would buy your toys for my children and other kids too - handmade(in my opinion) is always best!

  14. Wow, what a awesome puzzle!
Have you ever heard about the Italian designer Enzo Mari? The puzzle reminds me of his book called "L'altalena": http://www.corraini.com/scheda_libro.php?id=49 (see pictures inside!). My daughter loves it.

    I love your toys!

Faccio e Disfo - Yes, I love Enzo Mari. My grandma had his animali puzzle when I was growing up. I've not seen that book though. It looks great! I'll try to get it. Thanks!
