My nephew Leo is turning four. Last year I made him a trumpet. This year he has developed a fascination for catfish, so a few days ago I decided to try and make him one. We just gave it to him today at the party. I think he liked it!
Well, I would like it! Maybe somebody will give me a catfish for my birthday. Fried or stuffed, they're both nice. . . . . . Love your site. Best wishes for the book!
Leo adores his catfish. (Yesterday I found it lying next to a smaller "baby" catfish he's had for awhile, now happily united.) And it perches so perfectly on a black and gold-toned leopard print pillow that sits in our rocking chair that it makes me want to start a blog to show you all! Once again, Uncle Joel has combined the beautiful and the sublime. . . :)

ReplyDeleteI love this! I made my two year old some fish and she loves them, we take them all over. I love the contrast on this one though, and the face.
