This morning we were drawing together and I thought it would be fun to get some material scraps and cut them into clothes so we could dress-up the drawings. Similar to the vintage buttons game we did before.
Wow -- amazing blog. I am just in awe of the creativity. I don't suppose you sell the wooden dolls or climbing gorilla or little wooden animals to go in Easter eggs? My littles would just love them.
Excusez mon anglais Atroce. A très bientôt. Virginie
Now I want to dress-up too. Like the one with the scarf best, oh and also the one with the teeny tiny hat and love the way the children are holding the pencils - so purposeful and engaged with drawing. Blorgie1
your kids are so lucky ! what a so wonderful discovery I did this morning, visiting your blog.... I'll be back soon ! have a good day with your babies !
Just found your blog and it's great, really inspiring the things you do with your kiddies. I work with littleuns too and I'm always looking for ideas so I'll be passing by more often! :)
My kids love doing the dressed up drawings too! It's their favorite past time. Their alternative to fabric is to cut out outfits from magazines and dress their drawings.
I just found this from Marvelous Kiddo and think your blog is fantastic. I especially love this idea - will be doing this with my daughter in the future.
I love these! I've got a basket of fabric scraps in the kids' studio; will be sitting down with that and a pen first thing Monday morning! (I'm a preschool teacher.)
Somehow a french blog helped me find my way here (crazy Internet), but hey, whatever. This rocks, the whole shebang. But THIS one, so far, is pure awesome. I look forward to poking around in wee moments of leisure.
This is amazing....your blog is fantastic I love it!
I had a doll house growing up and my brother was always fascinated by it. My dad build him a doll house "farm" that he loved....it the living area on one side and a stable for horses on the other side. All his little dude friends LOVED this thing too....who says doll houses are just for girls??
Thanks for the inspiration. I'll be trying some of your ideas out with my little guy Wolfie for sure! : ) alix modernkiddo.com
